At Riverlight Australia Cattle Dogs, we have been building our reputation as an independent exhibitor team focusing on the type and style of The Australian Cattle Dog which isn't often seen anymore, but one that is correct and true to the breed standard. I have for years loved the style of dogs produced through the great names in the breed such as Yaringah, Littlewaco, Kombinalong and Lanbart. Over the years and generations great dogs have emerged from those lines and I have spent years following my heart to include what I consider some of the greatest dogs in the past 25 years. My foundation dogs are both from Littlewaco, and Queblue. 

 

 We boast the most exclusive lines available in Australia, some of which no longer exist and our puppies have the heritage of Multi Champion, Grand Champion and Supreme Champion dogs within a 4 generation pedigree.   We take our responsibilities very seriously and strive to ensure the health and well-being of all our Dogs.  I plan each litter years in advance. That’s why the happiest days for us are when one of our Australian Cattle Dogs is adopted by a loving and welcoming family who are seeking something special.​

 

To be blunt, We breed infrequently. Puppies from Riverlight are only available once a year normally or less. Our dogs are DNA tested against Disease. We carefully select puppies and make sure that the transition from our loving arms to yours is a seamless as possible. ​​
